Be Cool, Stay Cool

On a hot day you need to stay hyradated
On last weekend’s show we talked about many ways to stay cool on the course even though many areas of the country are experiencing record high temperatures. Keeping your blood cool that is flowing to the brain is very important. Once the internal temp of your body reaches 103 degrees you’re entering some very dangerous territory. Cool gel packs, ice water towels or (our favorite) quinine are some easy techniques. You can find quinine in tonic water. Of course, you may have to add some Gin or Vodka to make the tonic water palatable! Hydration is the key. Plus, Jeff suggests an on course game that makes practice actually fun!
